They took me to a beautiful garden
To describe it no words can compare

Then we gathered round God's Holy Mountain
And sang with Rapture and Praise
To Him The Alpha Omega
The Beginning and Ending of Days.

Face to face I beheld my Creator
With scarred hands He beckoned me near
No words my weak heart could engender
To describe The Voice on my ear.

He spoke my name and I yielded
His loving and tender embrace
Oh what boundless mercy
And oh what unmeasured Grace

When I awoke in my bed I was crying
A new day was beginning to dawn
Then I knelt on my knees in the silence
And thanked Him for the strength to go on

Now my heart is enraptured
Come whatever what may
For all the toils of this life will seem nothing
When I come to the end of The Way

Oh what a happy reunion
For they no longer bent and grey
All stood in crowns of Glory
When we come to the end of the The Way.
