Well the works of the Lord have been great
And now he calls certain men to live holy
As the evening time grows late
There's a deep which must answer their yearning

And though the strength it gives way
We must all the more pray
For I feel many have still not heard the call

So I'll keep on sharing the Word
With anyones ears that are open
And if the world turns their heads
And we're left standing alone
Our stopping place will be our Heavenly Home

Well the Shepherds need rest from their toils
Then someone cries that their Soul is so hungry
Praying their joy be complete
Lord give us your grace as we go
